Smart Home Sovereignty — Local-First AI for Connected Homes

A smart home should not be a surveillance home.

Every smart device tends to come with its own app, its own cloud account, and its own assumptions about what data is fair game. The result, for most households, is a tangle of vendor silos pretending to be a connected home. InteliDroid replaces the tangle with a local conductor that speaks Home Assistant and Matter, applies your policies, and answers to you.

What Sovereignty Looks Like

Locks, cameras, thermostats, sensors, and lights are coordinated locally. Routines — bedtime, morning, away, guest, vacation, lockdown — are written once and applied across vendors. The local language model handles natural-language commands without sending your home life to a cloud assistant. Approvals on your phone gate any action that would unlock a door, share a feed externally, or override a child or guest restriction.

What Stays Local

Camera streams. Microphone audio. Occupancy patterns. Daily schedules. Family members, guests, and pets. Voice commands. Device telemetry. By default, none of it leaves your node. When something does need to leave — a software update, a remote alert, a delegated cloud task — it leaves with your approval and a log entry.

InteliDroid Perspective

Smart homes should not become surveillance environments. InteliDroid is being designed around local control, encrypted mobile pairing, need-to-know data sharing, and approval-based automation.
