OpenClaw Runtime — Managed Local AI Automation
OpenClaw is the engine. InteliDroid is the conductor.
OpenClaw is an open-source automation runtime that gives developers and power users a lot of capability. The price of that capability is configuration: skills to install, channels to wire up, error messages to interpret, model keys to manage, and policies to write. InteliDroid takes OpenClaw and adds the layers that turn it into a product an ordinary household or small business can run.
What InteliDroid Adds
A setup wizard that detects your hardware and platform — NVIDIA Linux, Windows, or Apple Silicon — and configures the appropriate stack. A diagnostic interpreter that translates cryptic OpenClaw errors into plain English with suggested fixes. A mobile dashboard for approvals and emergency controls. A policy layer that decides which model runs which task. Model routing across local and cloud providers based on privacy, cost, and capability. Productized workflow packs you can buy and run — not just code samples.
An Adapter, Not a Fork
InteliDroid maintains an OpenClaw adapter — a clean boundary between the runtime and the rest of the product. We benefit from upstream OpenClaw progress, contribute back where it makes sense, and only fork if upstream blocks privacy, reliability, or commercial support. The goal is to own the conductor, not to own every engine.
Product Note
InteliDroid is exploring a managed local AI node that can use OpenClaw as a key automation engine while adding setup assistance, mobile control, diagnostics, privacy policies, model routing, and approval workflows.
